The Blue Mitten started out as a rummage sale in the basement of Christ Church in Westerly in 1959.
It now operates as a non-profit thrift shop with all proceeds benefitting the Chorus of Westerly programs and concerts, as well as scholarships for their youth singers so they can attend Chorus Camp in the Summer.
Our Mission Statement is “The shop that helps Westerly sing,” and we are happy to continue to support this mission for the Westerly community.
