Coastal Enterprises of Jacksonville was incorporated in 1981 and is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are honored to be CARF Accredited and to be one of a few Ability One employers in southeast North Carolina.
Coastal Enterprises of Wilmington became a division of Coastal Enterprises of Jacksonville, Inc. in November 2001. This took place as the result of a merger with “Keys”, an existing rehabilitation program for many years in Wilmington, NC.
Both offices are served by the same governing Board of Directors that meet quarterly. Coastal Enterprises of Wilmington is served by a voluntary Advisory Board of Directors that also meets quarterly. Coastal Enterprises, Inc. currently serves over 600 men and women annually with a wide range of disabilities.
Throughout our history, Coastal Enterprises has served our communities with the clear mission to develop and maintain training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
