Sikeston Department of Public Safety Fire Division

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety Fire Division, is one of two major divisions that makes up the department.  The division is responsible for providing fire protection, motor vehicle rescue services, hazardous material mitigation and technical rescues within the City of Sikeston.  It also has an agreement to provide these services within the Sikeston Fire Protection District.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is a partner with Jackson Fire and Rescue, Cape Girardeau Fire and Rescue and Stoddard County Ambulance Service to form the Region E Homeland Security Response Team.  This team is the primary responder to hazardous materials, water rescues and any technical rescues in the Southeast Missouri Region.
