The Vassar Police Department was established with the City of Vassar in 1952 as a one man department and has grown through the years to become a full service police agency.
Community
The police department stays actively involved in community projects and events such as the Vassar Pumpkin Roll, Community Pride City Wide, Vassar River fest, Vassar High School Homecoming Parade and the city’s newest event Chill on the Hill. The Vassar Police Department continually strives to make Vassar a safe and enjoyable community to live in.
