The Vassar Food Pantry was started in 1985 as an emergency service to help people, who are experiencing difficulty making ends meet because of an emergency, such as a layoff, illness or major car repair, etc.  The Vassar Food Pantry is funded 100% through donations.

Hours of Operation:  Tuesdays from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm

Guidelines:  

  • Clients are eligible to receive help from the Vassar Food Pantry every 90 days.
  • Client must be a resident of Vassar, Millington, Mayville, Richville, Reese or Frankenmuth
  • Clients may be asked to show most recent W2 or pay stubs to prove household income.
  • Assistance is given in the form of food boxes.
  • Appointments are not necessary – Walk-ins are served on a first come first served basis.
