First Ward Community Service a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization is celebrating its 85th year in the Saginaw community. We are so excited to reach this milestone and celebrate all of its accomplishments throughout these 85 years. Since 1931, First Ward has always focused on helping supplement the needs of our children, senior citizens, families, and the community through our services and programs.
First Ward’s mantra has and continues to be “Making a positive difference in people’s lives.” We fully understand the impact of First Ward affecting many generations. Many from the community have found employment, job skill training, food and utility assistance, after-school programs, and many other opportunities to achieve sustainability in life from their association with First Ward Community Center. We look forward to continuing to instill hope into many generations to come.
