Helping Hands Mission Store is a locally focused, volunteer powered, community funded Re-Sale shop located in the heart of the Westside in Grand Rapids, MI running on 8 years strong! We believe in inclusion of all humans, body positivity and our local community, who we consider to be our much loved extended family.
We at Helping Hands Mission Thrift Store believe that the greatest good starts at home AND that it takes a village. Helping Hands is a non-affiliated, self funded nonprofit. ALL of our funding comes from the donations and sales through our store and website. Because of this, we donate our proceeds to various socially focused local charities as well as running a clothing voucher program for our own neighbors.
Helping Hands’ Clothing Voucher program helps to provide clothing to our neighbors in need. We partner with several local organizations to distribute the slips to the community which can be redeemed in our store with dignity.
