Pines Behavioral Health Services is a Community Mental Health Services Program (CMHSP) serving those with mental health concerns, substance use disorders, persons with an intellectual/developmental disability, and veterans with intensive and complex needs. We are affiliated with seven other similar agencies in surrounding counties (Barry, Berrien, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Vanburen to share costs, learn best practices, and provide an additional choice of providers to you.
The oversight of the Medicaid services across this partnership is managed by Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health (SWMBH). Pines is also recognized by SAMHSA as meeting the certification standards of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). A CCBHC follows nationally recognized standards of care and provides integrated mental health and physical health services to treat the whole person regardless of residence or ability to pay.
