When you arrive at the Haven, you will be greeted by our shelter associates at the front desk. We always have one shelter associate working at the front desk.
We have an intake process that is done in a separate room so that you have the privacy you need to share your story. There is some paperwork that you will need to fill out and a shelter associate will go over the guidelines with you and assign you a bed. You will be asked some additional questions to better understand what brought you to the Haven. A case management session will be scheduled for you within the first 48 hours to help develop a plan moving forward. If you need anything or have any concerns during your stay with us, please let one of our staff know. We are here to help!
