The Buhl Fire Department is managed through a Joint Management Agreement between the City of Buhl and the Buhl Rural Fire Protection District. Currently the department consists of a Full Time Fire Chief, an Administrative Assistant, and six shift Firefighter/EMT’s along with 30 Paid Call/Stipend Volunteers.
The department provides a full range of services including fire suppression, extrication, emergency medical services, fire code enforcement, hazardous material response and Public Station Tours/Fire Prevention Education.
The Buhl Fire Department responds out of two stations. City of Buhl Station 1 located at 205 N Broadway and Buhl Rural Fire Protection Districts Station 2 at 19266 US HWY. 30.
