Since 1983 The Community Kitchen of Torrington, Inc. has provided hot, nutritious meals in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment! But we are more than just a soup kitchen. We are a community oasis where individuals and families come to connect with a variety of community-based healthcare providers, social service agencies, and non-profits to receive critical services and support.
The Community Kitchen of Torrington, Inc. is classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the internal Revenue Code and is currently exempt under section 501(c)(3).
