MISSION

House of Neighborly Service assists and advocates for people challenged by the effects of poverty or situational crisis.

HNS provides basic need help for today and hope for tomorrow.

VISION

House of Neighborly Service (HNS) is a local Christian faith-based non-profit organization established in 1961 by the Loveland Council of Churches and in 1989 by the Berthoud Council of Churches, with the united vision to faithfully serve the people in our communities.

The HNS vision is to stabilize and strengthen at-risk families, children, youth, seniors and disabled who are experiencing situational crises or the effects of poverty. The programs at HNS encourage self-sufficiency and self-reliance by helping to access and maximize the economic, physical, social, emotional and Spiritual resources available in our community. By providing a multitude of basic services in one location there is greater opportunity to access valuable resources.
