CEPRODIH is a non-profit civil association founded in Montevideo in 1998, with the mission of serving and supporting the most vulnerable families, especially women with children, in situations of high social risk: unemployment, domestic violence, and neglect during pregnancy. These factors violate women’s dignity and directly impact children’s living conditions.
Our main objective is to generate concrete alternatives for socioeconomic inclusion so that women facing risk can overcome them and effectively enter the workforce, enabling them to support their families with dignity and autonomy.
Mission
Promote human dignity and guarantee respect for the rights of women and their families in vulnerable situations. Through comprehensive support programs, CEPRODIH offers tools that strengthen autonomy, elevate quality of life, and create safe environments for their full development. We work every day to ensure that every person can live with dignity, regardless of the adversities they face.
Vision
We envision an inclusive and supportive Uruguay, where no woman or child is excluded due to factors such as unemployment, domestic violence, or homelessness. We want to be the national benchmark that inspires equal opportunity policies and practices, building resilient communities that respect human dignity.
