The National Housing Agency (ANV) of Uruguay, established in 2007, is a decentralized agency that forms part of the Public Housing System. Its main objective is to promote and facilitate access to and permanence in housing, contributing to the implementation of housing policies with a social, economic, and environmental focus.
To achieve its mission, ANV implements housing and urban development programs in collaboration with public and private entities, manages assets from housing loans, manages trusts, and provides technical services. It also operates in the real estate market as an investor and developer of developments in urban areas, promoting private investment in affordable housing.
