Islamic Relief Tunisia is a branch of Islamic Relief Worldwide, a global charitable and relief organization founded in 1984 in Britain. It is an active member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and a signatory to the Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and Disaster Relief NGOs.

The organization’s projects in Tunisia began in 2011 and included education, health and development projects in particular. Among the current pioneering projects is the organization’s office in Tunisia’s commitment, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Food Program (WFP), to equip and maintain health vehicles in primary schools throughout the country.
