ActionAid Thailand is a non-profit organisation that works to strengthen the capacity and active agency of people living in poverty and exclusion to assert their rights. With a firm belief in the power of people to bring change for themselves and their communities, our dedicated team empowers and provides aid to marginalised people – particularly women, youths, and the poor – to ensure that they realise their potential and enjoy the right to live with dignity.
We work directly with communities, people’s organisations, women’s groups and networks, social movements, academic and research institutions, different levels of government, the media and other allies, and connect the work we do at the community level. Through this solidarity, those who have been neglected and deprecated are able to present their concerns, campaign for their causes, influence public policies and bring about change for a more just, equitable and sustainable world.
