Korea Women’s Hot-Line started for nonviolent world and equality of sexes in 1983.
Korea Women’s Hot-Line works in various fields of activity such as protecting woman rights from all kinds of problems including domestic, sexual violence, the gender trade and trafficking in women, and migrant women problems.
Korea Women’s Hot-Line brought the various women violence into relief as social problems, so it made Korean society realizing the violence as crimes, and played the role of locomotive for establishing three laws considering woman rights such as the special law on sexual violence, protection law on domestic violence, and protection law on the sex trade.
As we organized the Asia Women Network, not only domestic matters, but also we are making efforts the women violence matters to the international issues.
Now, as a nationwide organization cooperated with 24 local branches, we are doing campaigns to make a nonviolent world about women.
