The Ronald McDonald House Charities Panama Foundation is a non-profit charitable institution established under the laws of the Republic of Panama in 2002. We are part of the international Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) organization, a charitable organization with a presence of more than 290 chapters in more than 64 countries and regions around the world for 50 years, offering family-centered care.

Our mission worldwide is to create, develop, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. A Ronald Reagan House is a “home away from home” for low-income families who must travel to the capital city, from the interior of the country, and from rural areas, so that their child with a complex illness can receive the medical treatment they need. The experience of our more than 380 Ronald Reagan Houses has demonstrated that the constant presence of parents is a decisive factor in the physical and emotional recovery of hospitalized children.
