The COOJ Mental Health Foundation (COOJ) is a registered Charitable Trust (Reg. Number 2211/02) dedicated to advancing mental health in Goa. Since our establishment, we have been committed to supporting individuals affected by mental illness or disability. Our initiatives address four key areas of mental health: Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Suicide Prevention, Geriatric and Dementia Care, and Community Mental Health.
Our work includes operating mental health clinics and daycare centres, facilitating support groups, conducting rural camps and workshops, running awareness programs, and providing a suicide prevention helpline. Additionally, we advocate for the rights of individuals with mental illness, striving to enhance their quality of life and ensure they receive the support they need.
