Light House is a well reputed non-profit voluntary development organization working for the development of rural and urban asset less poor, marginalized and high risk population particularly the landless, homeless, sex worker, drug users both injecting and heroin smokers, men who have sex with men (MSM) and Hijra with transgender, distressed, school dropouts, child labor, Adibashi and other disadvantaged adults and children in Bangladesh.
The Mission of Light House is to serve the socially and economically less privileged people in Bangladesh, who are deprived of health care facilities, nutrition and income generating opportunities, justice; governance, and are vulnerable to climate change effects. The organization works with both supply and demand sides, emphasizing on capacity building training and support the community people for ensuring use internet and online platform and sustainable ICT solutions / services that meet the need of the targeted beneficiaries and facilitating accessibility to and availability of required services and products.
