One church made up of one people. A people undivided by race, culture, age, class or gender. United by one vision–that is, the establishment of the rule of Christ where they live and carry influence. A people who invent ways to build bridges over dividing waters, who walk into undiscovered territory through their personal adventures of faith, who discover the gold in society, no matter how deeply it may be embedded under the mire.
A people of wide open spaces, not of saturation, who don’t bottleneck growth but open up opportunities for it. A people who collaborate creatively for the benefit of those around them, whose impact on their region is locked up in their collaborative relationships.
A people who live in authentic community, investing their resources into a common goal, who unlock one another’s full potential and release the treasure inside of one another. A people whose treasure is not for the sake of personal wealth but rather for the inheritance of others. A people not seeking fame but influence, not driven by ambition but rather significance, not motivated by a thirst for success, but wholly satisfied in the love they have received and compelled to give it.
