The Findlay Police Department has been serving the citizens of Findlay since its creation in 1887. The Department has an authorized strength of 67 sworn officers and 19 non-sworn personnel.
The Department has three divisions, Patrol, Detective, and Special Services. Those divisions provide full time services to their residents and visitors to Findlay. Along with basic police services, the Department offers opportunities for officers to be involved with the Crisis Management Team, general investigations, vice investigations, crime scene processing, accident reconstruction, K-9 handler, and the Honor Guard.
The Findlay Police Department is comprised of dedicated professional Police Officers and employees who are committed to serving the citizens of Findlay. The Department conducts in service training several times a year and utilizes training opportunities through outside trainers as well.
