The Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) provides all services under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), as well as provides business development services. In addition to overseeing the WIOA and Special Grant Programs that assist eligible Pike County Adults and Youth facing serious barriers to employment, the W&B also offers free income tax preparation and financial literacy classes. Some of the W&B Services include Career Readiness Workshops, Computer Classes, Occupational Classroom Training, On-the-Job Training (OJT), Apprenticeships, and Work Experience.
