The Mission of the Chillicothe Police Department is to investigate violations of the Ohio Revised Code and Codified Ordinances of the city. The police department exists to serve the citizens of Chillicothe with fair, professional and courteous service.

We openly communicate with our citizens and guests to ensure understanding of the department and the community’s needs. Our department strives to maintain quality personnel, up to date training and modern equipment.
