Athens Public Transit

Athens Public Transit (APT) is a fixed-route public bus system serving the City of Athens, Ohio, including Albany, Nelsonville, the Village of Chauncey, and The Plains. Athens Public Transit has a highly trained and dedicated group of drivers.

In addition to the drivers, Athens Public Transit staff includes a coordinator, manager, dispatcher, and mechanic. Athens Public Transit would not be possible without the support and cooperation of a diverse team of organizational partners (City of Athens, Office of Transit, and Federal Transit Administration).
