Mission Statement
The mission of the Canton Police Department is to improve the quality of life of the citizens and visitors of Canton through the protection of life and property, the promotion of safety and education, and enforcement of laws.
We will accomplish this while fostering positive relationships in the community, and committing ourselves through strong leadership to the training, development, and emotional wellness of our officers.
Our commitment to the community and those who protect it will influence our short and long-term plans and will be evident in the allocation of our resources. As holders of the public trust, we will strive to serve as role models for the community; examples of honesty, integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
