The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is coordinated through Miami-Dade County’s Self Help Division as part of their emergency assistance programs. The program helps low-income individuals and families having financial difficulty paying their electric and gas utility bills. Eligible applicants will receive a credit payment which would be applied to their existing utility bill.
