The Adel Fire Departments mission is to respond to all reported emergencies of our citizens in a safe manner, to protect their lives and property through fire prevention, and public education, while mitigating all emergencies and disasters.
Our Vision is to cost-effectively achieve our goals through training, pre-fire planning, education, evaluation of the community, while limiting the loss of life, property and damage to our environment.
The Adel Fire Department provides the highest level of quality fire protection to the citizens of Adel & Cook County, Georgia. The jurisdiction we serve covers a 6.3 square-mile area that is located in South Central Georgia. Serving a population of 5,200, our organization delivers a full range of fire protection including fire prevention, education, fire suppression, and emergency rescue using the “Jaws of Life”.
