The STD/HIV Program has been on Guam for over 25 years and is the island’s primary driving force behind STD/HIV prevention. The STD/HIV Program receives federal funds through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Health Resource Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, The Program provides FREE CONFIDENTIAL STD/HIV testing, treatment including AIDS Drugs Assistance Program, risk reduction counseling, health education, awareness and various other resources to the community. Prutehi Hao! is Chamorro for Protect Yourself! This brief, but very bold statement is meant to empower the people of Guam and Micronesia in their fight against STD and HIV infection.
