OVCI has been present in Khartoum since 1999. It began its intervention in the south of the country in 1983 (the city of Juba, the current State of Southern Sudan), with the construction and start-up of the Usratuna Multipurpose Rehabilitation Center. After fifteen years of continuous work for disabled children in the area – where he has been recognized as scientific and professional – the government authorities have requested an operational presence also in the current Republic of Sudan, State of Khartoum.
