The City of Sterling Fire Department has the strength of twenty-two career firefighters nine part-time EMS, and eight volunteer firefighters, which serve a residential population of more than 23,000 citizens. Our department provides fire services to a geographical area of over 600 square miles and EMS services for Logan County, a geographic area of approximately 1850 square miles. Fire prevention, emergency medical care including- Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support transport, fire suppression, dive team, technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, disaster response, and any specific education classes within our scope.
